Importance of Patience
The holy month of Ramadhan is approaching. As the children are having summer vacations, it’s an opportunity for the parents and students to spend the entire holy month in a relaxing mode with full focus on spirituality. As Azaan International school is determined to provide best Islamic values and quality teaching in Hyderabad, we conduct Tarbiyah program during the month of Ramadhan and also make arrangement for the Itikaaf. As all of us know that the month of Ramdhan is the training period for following eleven months, parents are requested to try their level best to inculcate the values behind the holy month. Self-control and Patience (Sabr) is the basic element of the month of Ramadhan.
Sbar is a weapon to conquer the world. Allah (SWT) reveals the importance of patience at various places in the Holy Quran
“Those of faith! Seek help with patient perseverance and prayer: for God is definitely with those of patience.” (Quran 2:153)
“Peace be upon you for that you preserved in patience! Now how excellent is the final home!” (Quran 13:24)
“O you who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy; compete in such perseverance; strengthen each other; and revere God; that you may truly succeed.” (Quran 3:200)
“And be patience, for your patience if from God.” (Quran 16:126)
Teach your children to have patience during adverse conditions. Usually children lose their self-control and patience during the condition of anger and anxiety. Teach them the way to cope up such emotions in the light of sunnah. Remind them the following tips to cope up with the anger, given by our beloved prophet (PBUH)
1. To say Audhu billahi minashaytan nirajim. 2. If he is standing, then he should sit. If the anger fails to subside, then he should lie down. 3. A person should remain silent. 4. Make wudhu.
May Allah accept all our good deeds.
