Independence Day celebration is one of the most significant events that students look forward to participate every year. However this year, due to the ongoing pandemic, the celebration was not the same as how it used to be earlier. Nevertheless, the pandemic could not dampen the spirit of patriotism amongst the students. The celebrations were done a little differently on virtual platform.
Students connected with their peers and teachers online and celebrated the day by delivering speeches and participating in painting and poem writing activities.
Though it was a virtual celebration, students have shown the same enthusiasm that was clearly seen in their paintings and poems. Their speeches were filled with patriotic fervour. The greeting cards made by the primary students wishing ‘Happy Independence Day’ reflected the spirit of patriotism that dwells in them.
The national flag was hoisted by the principal at the school premises following the guidelines of the pandemic. The school core group members were present on the occasion to pay their tribute to our freedom heroes.
